Boy oh Boy was I worried last week. It just kept raining. Well, the weekend was dry and the teams all had a good time. Thanks to everyone who helped sell shirts and concessions because it was a little on the chilly side. Thanks to all the coaches who came out and played.
For the SLAM! — the games were good — we played the Krush, the Blaze 96, the Phoenix 98 and the Blaze 97. In the end we finished 3-1 and got to the semis. It was short of our expectations but nevertheless we saw a lot of things to like out there on the field. We need to continue to work hard on hitting the ball better all the way through the lineup. I see a lot of progress, though and I think we’re going to hit some over the fence this year, no doubt.
